Palo Sebo

Palo Sebo is a competitive game where several contestants are challenged to climb a bamboo stick covered in grease, where a prize is set at the top of the stick. The first person to come down the bamboo pole with the prize, is the winner. Alternatively, any contestant who is unable to climb the bamboo stick is disqualified, or if a contestant does not reach the prize before the other contestants do, the contestant will lose. Palo Sebo is played in a special area of the community, where several bamboo poles are lined up.
